🌼 두번째 멘토링

두번째 멘토링에는 프로젝트에 대한 보고를 한 후 제출할 구글 폼, 영상, 대본에 대한 멘토링을 받았다.

구글 폼과 대본에 대한 멘토링은 Google Docs를 통해 같이 코멘트를 남기면서 진행하였다. 이후 영상이 완성이 된다면 추가적으로 이메일로 영상에 대한 피드백을 주시기로 약속하고 멘토링이 마무리 되었다. 

(Tmi : 멘토링을 보통 30분 내외로 받기로 예정되었는데 멘토분이 정말정말 꼼꼼히 봐주셔서 감사했다,, 정말,, 거의 한시간 반 넘게 멘토링을 받은듯 그리고 이메일로도 추가적으로 봐주신다고 해서 이렇게 신경써주실 수 있나? 싶을 정도로 감동+도움을 많이 받았다. 나중에 궁금한거 생기면 연락하라고 개인적인 이메일로 알려주셨다. Cindy 멘토님 정말 감사했습니다..❤ 나중에 Google에서 뵈었으면 좋겠어요..ㅎㅎ)

🌼 세번째 간이 멘토링 (이메일)

멘토분께 리드미와 영상에 대한 피드백이 왔다. 

Have a couple things for improvements (I also commented in the Google docs):

1. Change "Non face to face / unmanned" to "contactless" 
2. Around 0:26, it's too fast to see the beneficiary verified by their beneficiary card. How long does it take to verify their identity?
3. I suggest putting 1:26 ~ 1:38 (box in subway and brief intro of the box) ahead, before the donor and user sign-in part (similar to your previous video around 0:25). This way we know the overall of how it works. Then we can show the login page &  "Center Page" saying the user can get a password from the webpage. 
4. In the "Center Page", can you briefly show the number of pads to donate or to get like in the previous video? You can display it very quickly.
5. Highlight password (add a red box in the slides to highlight) so people can easily differentiate donor or user page.
6. Suggest to remove 1:02 ~ 1:09 (change profile & delete account), these seem less important. And you already mention the privacy option when talking about Donation Ranking.
7. Move the ranking part to the last as this is an improvement to encourage donations.

1. Append the 2nd goal with "Protecting ..... for personal safety and privacy purpose"
2. Change "non-face-to-face" to "contactless" for "Blooming is a local non-face-to-face sanitary pad donation". Some other places can use non-face-to-face too.
3. "There is a hole in the upper part of the box" -> "several holes" as there're different types of pads
4. In "Sign up" part, change "joining is approved" to "registration is approved"

조언에 따라 Github 리드미와 영상을 마지막에 최종 편집 후 제출하였다.

이 대회의 목적성과 Blooming의 연관성, 5월 발표 이후로 개선된 점, 실제로 Blooming 박스를 통해 실생활에서 테스트를 진행한 점, Google 기술을 어떠한 것을 어떠한 부분에서 썼는지 등을 강조하여 구글 폼을 작성했다.

🌼 최종 결과

아쉽게도 Top 10안에 들지 못하였다. (한국에서 한 팀도 없다니....!!! 😭)

하지만 이번 기회를 통해 좋은 사람들과 뜻깊은 프로젝트를 하게 되어 Google Solution Challenge에 참여한 것이 올해 한 일 중 가장 의미있는 활동 중 하나로 기억될 것 같다. 실제로 프로젝트 시작 전에는 Django로 간단한 기능 구현밖에 할 줄 몰랐는데 (나 뿐만 아니라 팀원도 얘기를 하다보면 나와 비슷하다고 한다^^) 원하는 기능을 구현하기 위해 열심히 고민하고 배우며 개발 실력도 많이 향상되었고, 클라우드 플랫폼을 활용할 수 있는 기회도 가지게 되었다. (추가적으로 사실 이런 장기 팀프로젝트도 처음이고 팀원들과 오랜기간 합을 맞춰본 경험또한 처음이어서 의미있었다. 이렇게 친해질줄 몰랐는데..!)

처음에 Solution Challenge의 UN 17 Goals가 너무 막연하게 느껴졌는데 실생활에서 불편했던 점, 프로그래밍을 통해 세상에 기여할 수 있는 점을 바탕으로 팀원들과 꾸준한 회의를 통해 점차 수월하게 진행할 수 있었던 것 같다. (미화 되었을 수도)

이런 뜻 깊은 대회에 다음에 또 참여할 수 있는 기회가 있다면 좋겠다. 우리 Gitribute팀 은지, 희, 지연 모두 수고많았다! GDSC Sookmyung 화이팅! <>
